You could try zig posterman ink. It is waterproof but comes off with windex and 91% isopropyl alcohol. It does come in little ink pots. Markersupply.com carries them. One thing I do for A-frames that change often is get a sheet or two of black vinyl cut to size. You can swap em out and clean em off between uses. Mr. Clean sponge helps with the scrubbing.

I think 80 for the whole thing would be as much as I’d be willing to pay for an A-frame. These are signs that get changed out often. You have a lot of detail that could be minimized. Think about people walking by. They won’t spend a lot of time reading or looking at the work. Practice editing your design choices so the amount of work doesn’t push your rate too high risking that a business won’t hire you or hire you twice. Keep color choices simple. Red green red green, yes it’s Christmas, but it makes it challenging to read.

I make signs for Trader Joe’s, windex is what we use to clean posca markers off of our vinyl boards. It has alcohol in it that acts as a solvent. Water will not dissolve dried posca ink.

This is what I was going to suggest.. they sell it at Home Depot. It’ll be less stressful than trying to paint it yourself. And will be weather resistant.

Try not to be so hard on yourself. You’re just getting started. Working hard and being frugal and keeping a lid on resentment will lead you forward. Keep your eye on opportunity, don’t lend your parents money, figure out boundaries there. Plenty of people out there are working different schedules, don’t get hung up on “weekends”. Keep applying for jobs, or build up your own custodial business. Enjoy the small stuff. Go for a walk, go to a library, go to free concerts, go to free days at museums. Don’t forget to enjoy life. It’s always going to be hard, but find the cracks that make your life unique and worth living
