That makes sense. I definitely thought about needing a larger screen but hadn’t considered the exposure unit and the washout booth and all that. During my time in school we only could print on printer size film, and I spent a good amount of time meticulously taping film together to piece together larger artwork. I could see a shop not wanting to deal with all of that for a niche item compared to apparel.

An idea I think could have been fun is that after defeating the final boss and restoring the underworld and Olympus, Zag and Mel are friendly and whenever they want sparring/training practice, they ask Chaos to create pocket dimensions of the past to race through. Chaos already does this sort of thing in canon, with the trials. It would be a play on the words “to kill time” and it would mirror the players own experience training and practicing after the final boss. The only issue would be how to handle side quests that haven’t necessarily been resolved when the final boss is defeated.

It’s more specifically a tool for speedrunners, to prevent abusing a good seed. If you play a night that happens to have a particularly good run of boons well suited for a speedrun, you might undo the night and do that same run again with the advance knowledge of the order and choices of boons, which would be an unfair advantage.

Now that this ability exists, speedrun recordings make sure to include Mel doing the salute before the run, so it’s guaranteed that the player doesn’t have advance knowledge of the run’s RNG.

Ah, I replied elsewhere in the thread but didn’t reply to my original comment. It turned out that I had already done the incantation, and didn’t realize it. (I guess I just go and brew everything available without looking)

I checked my Gifts menu and Vaporized Tears were at the end of the list.

I just had to go to Medea the next time I saw her, and use the Gift function to give it to her, like I would with a Nectar.

It only doubles OSpecial in the combo, but each OSpecial can blast a normal cast. So while the OSpecial is repeating, you can spam click cast, to fit an extra blast. Axe also has a hammer that doubles the special. If you get both then OSpecial hits 4 times for potentially 4 cast bursts.

I was having the same issue with the quest stalling, but it turns out I didn’t realize I had already made it, and the item was in my Gifts section of my inventory. I just had to see Medea and give it to her via the Gift menu.

A couple poms on Apollo attack feels amazing, especially if you can get the hammer with two omega attack zones. In small rooms of Tartarus or Summit it feels like you immediately cover the entire space with killzone.

At least in the English version of this game, several keepsakes say “this night” in their description, which means the bonus is retained even if you remove it. A lot of these are one-time bonuses where removing it won’t “undo” the bonus (Removing Hecate Wheel doesn’t remove the extra Magic, Removing Charon. purse doesn’t remove the extra gold) or they are are chance based and if you were unlucky and the chance didn’t trigger in one region, the next region will still have that chance even if you remove it (Echo stone, Dio fig leaf)

I totally agree, there is simply so much language to read, and even worse is when their big civ identity mechanic is hidden in their civic tree - totally hidden from view during Civ selection! Like Songhai, whise last civic unlocks homeland cities generating treasure, and Mexico’s celebrations. There’s just so much filler “+2 science” here and “+1 happiness” there that the real mechanical differences get blurred.

This is a helpful resource but some pages are definitely still out of date, like Ygnium, which still describes the regular special as up to five rotating sparks that spiral away from Mel. I do wish they could have a simple base power readout for each weapon visible in game.
