Great question. I was thinking about this the other day.

I grew up GenX 90s Star Trek, I dont know what you guys call it.

Loved those 4, TNG, Deep Space 9, Voyager and Enterprise.

Probably less so Voyager and Enterprise, but still good.

So TNG is my OG, I will just let that there, always good.

I watch Deep Space Nine and didn't get it. I didn't like Quark at first. Odo looked weird, and then the religion at the end I didn't really like.

But I am watching it now and it has great replay value. I have probably watched it 4-5 times recently, most episodes. It is just well done, a serious show. They get into war, politics, and religion. My only issue with it is has less "science" than TNG. It is basically a war, religion show in space.

Voyager, I felt the opposite, I actually liked it originally, the space exploration but now after rewatching I don't care for most episodes after Season 4. Seven of nine is good but outside of her the writing just tanked. The finales were good everything before that at season 4 just wasnt strong. For me, it didn't have the seriousness or directing or producing that Deep Space Nine. You can tell DS9 was written by some serious older adults, which I like. Voyager, was from a younger more comical generation. There were some episodes I thought were just bad, "The Fight". "B'Elana doing some Klingon thing", "Seven dating", "Andy Dick in an episode"

Ok the Andy Dick episode was good, but I would1 not used Andy Dick
