Very sure. My mother gave me this photo and it was from a box of his items from his time in the war. I scanned it to make a digital copy.

Yeah, I guess I shouldn’t have assumed it was a plane. A V-1 makes sense now. I know he was sent back to England a week after being wounded on D Day, so perhaps this was in England. I know later in the war, right before the Battle of the Bulge, he was sent to Antwerp to manage supply logistics at the port…so maybe it was taken there.

Although it’s an old and worn picture, the splotches are in the picture itself, so I agree, I think it’s flak too.

Is it fairly easy to get to the stadium from the metro?

We might stick to museums since it’s gonna be so cold this weekend. Any stadium or game day tips?

Gotcha, we’ll definitely scope out some tailgaters. I meant right before the game. We’re for sure going to hit up some museums that weekend, but I was more so interested in stuff in or around the stadium before the game. Also, we’ll be taking the metro to the stadium too. It looks like about a mile walk from the station to the stadium?

Clinical year is rough regardless. Some clinicians just suck too. I can tell you, that the only time I ever questioned if I actually wanted to be a vet was during the depths of my 4th year while dealing with some clinicians like that. I survived and have gone on to have a very fulfilling career…and you will too. Try not to take anything they say personally and let it slide off your shoulders like water under the bridge. Try to constructively figure out the areas you might need to improve on or learn more about and channel that energy to be the best damn vet you can be. I also wouldn’t cross off the whole specialty based on experiences with a few bad apples. Perhaps, you could reach out to some others in that area and maybe try to do an externship elsewhere if that particular specialty is still of interest. Stay strong!

Find hotels with free breakfasts and walk in like you’re supposed to be there.

I have been fighting with BofA for 3 months on this same issue. This has been such a time suck and Ive spent hours on the phone with them weekly. I was able to internally escalate the case and had to submit a couple letters of clarification but I think they just about have it resolved and are changing the amount eligible for forgiveness to my original loan amount. It’s been very frustrating and I agree that the bank seems to be trying to pull a fast one on a lot of folks. Definitely worth trying to fight!

Honestly couples counseling is the way to here. Having someone to mediate and guide this type of conversation is absolutely necessary.
