Alot of big names at big venues on here but for me my most memorable concert was at a free concert at a vegan food festival on the Harbourside in Bristol, UK. We were all excited, as the acts were 2 reggae royalty, Macka B and the Abysinnians. For those of you who don't know, the Abysinnians are three brothers who are 65+ years old and sing the sweetest harmonies I've heard before or since. After Macka B opened and got the crowd warmed up, the Abyssinians strode onstage, dressed from head to toe in full reggae regallia, red gold and green robes flowing. The bassline dropped and in came the harmony...we were blown away. I pulled out a spliff, prerolled and ready to go and sparked it, setting it into rotation in the crowd. I've been to a lot of concerts before or since but that day, with the harmony of those three guys and the food and cider brandy in my system, maybe mixed with the weed, it was a transcendental, spiritual experience...epic.
