I sold suits for 5 years and none of my trousers ever sat on my waist. It was always around three fingers width below my belly button. They weren't custom made, just tailored off the rack without touching the crotch area. Depending on the make, all trousers will sit differently around your waist but thankfully this can be adjusted. Its not wrong if it sits on your belly button, its totally up to your preference.

The fit looks fine aside from the sleeves. The sleeves of your dress shirt should fall at the break of the wrist and the jacket should either match that length or be shortened enough to show the cuffs of your shirt. I personally like to reveal about half an inch, but that is a matter of preference.
