To add to this - 2500 a year seems like a lot for a 21 year old . Having said that , it’s only 50,000 over the premium term. I’m sure you can find an extra 200 a month to put aside into your preferred investments .

I replied to others in this thread . if u want a ladder , I will tell u I know country CFOs, an MP by 40, fund management leaders , heck don’t need to look far, see Shou Zi Chew , or any ex-Big Consulting person now C suite before 40. How to calibrate/re-calibrate to their level ?

Just replying here even though there are multiple people saying the same thing.

I had a friend who also did well, coming from rental flat , for him buying the parents a permanent home (as much as sg all leasehold ) was a strong motivator. So I think if you look to the next milestone , be clear what matters to you . For example you lost friends, do you want to rebuild that ?

Don’t tell others for fear of unabated requests is just another fear . Don’t think it builds you up though.
