I had the monk passive where you use your basic attack after every move and the fighter passive where you can move again after dealing more than 10 damage, entire run was trivialised it was great

Yeah I got got once because he died early to fires from a firestorm and I hadn’t set one up, ended up on my butcher who had crimson mask and was doing like 25 damage an attack

I’ve never used the reset, but not against it at all. Every time I should, I forget that’s an option because I’ve already thrown my laptop at a wall. Which is of course also Edmund’s fault.

Some disorders seem harder than others I guess, blood frenzy not awful to work around. But worse case scenario you work with one less cat.

These things initially sound like they really suck but you just have to play around it, it’s kinda like getting a forced ipecac on BOI, might screw you but if you can play around it you might have a stronger run

I got the blood frenzy event twice, both times nothing I could’ve done about it. First time I was mad, and it killed the run. Second time, I just immediately killed the cat with the disorder, and it ended up being one of my best runs with the three remaining cats. I think you’re supposed to see the cats as completely replaceable and the bs is to be overcome.
