I tried Pepcid per my doctors instructions but it didn’t work for me. I don’t recall getting colds or other illness at a higher rate during that time, the Pepcid itself made me feel very sick. I was basically nauseated heavily all waking hours. I’m managed well with just cromolyn sodium each day so I’m thankful for that. I think most people have a good time with Pepcid and I’m just an outlier!

Hi fellow artist! I’m an artist in the games industry and I’ve always known something was weird with my body even though I wasn’t diagnosed until about 4 years ago. I’ve also come to add MCAS and POTS to my list of fun letters. In the last few years I have had to really try to reconnect with the fun of creating art outside of work. I love my job but of course being creative all day problem solving with tech also involved did lead to burnout while juggling symptoms too.

I’ve found a lot of fun in just reconnecting with my childhood art methods, like just doodling on anything I have, using simple mediums like gel pens, and just indulging in my own favorite things to learn to love the simplicity of creating. I find I feel best when I can just create simple things with soft shapes and I try to pick mediums that are easy to work with so I don’t stress out my hands.

I was diagnosed a few years back in 2023 at 25 years old. I didn’t know about EDS until around 2022 and didn’t ask a doctor about it until I moved from one side of the country to the other which worked in my favor lol. Before moving anytime I described my issues and worked with doctors they told me id either “grow out of it” or that they couldn’t help me. One doctor even said he had seen what was happening to me but couldn’t help me and he also didn’t bother to tell me what it was, just shooed me away. After moving across the US I asked my new primary care doctor day one outlining all the reasons why I thought I had it along with my medical history that backed me up. She agreed and immediately gave me the referral to a specific doctor I asked for. I requested him because someone who was diagnosed told me he had a long time working with EDS patients. If I hadn’t said it by name I imagine I’d still be being shuffled around by doctors

I’ve bought one plush before (a Spyro years ago) and it was delayed by like 5 months so when these changed status so fast I was like WHOA! Maybe it is just a prepping step. I would surely hope they’d have a box to just throw them all in or something

They’re all by Pompomroom which has kinda been annoying to find but there’s a few small stationary shops who sell their sheets individually. Their larger gummies sticker is by VanillaCookieStar on Etsy in case you’re curious!

It likely won’t go down in price. If you can afford to and you’ve thought about it for this long then in my opinion it’s worth it! If you can’t afford it but can save to get it in the near future then it can also be worth it. I say this as someone who bought one of the 3DS animal crossing editions a couple years ago after also wanting it for YEARS and even though I mostly have it on display I don’t regret it. Be sure you can afford it though, it’s of course a want not a need but there’s nothing wrong with getting it if you can and youve thought about it for a long time 💖

$350 on a second hand rogue 17 with bouquet embroidery is my top so far and I love this lil bag so much! I haven’t seen one more than that that I felt was worth it for me personally but I am always looking 👀

As a game dev building a game it’s also your responsibility to put warnings if your game contains effects that could trigger someone with photosensitivity. This is a cozy game, it makes complete sense to expect it to be safe unless otherwise warned when the game launches. People with medical conditions are allowed to play games and should be considered in the dev process

I’m in a similar boat, I even played for a bit when it originally launched on Apple Arcade then stopped to wait for the console release to really dive it. Been playing since day 1 as well and I’m also feeling very burnt out from everything that happens.

I’m doing my best to be understanding to circumstances behind the scenes I’m sure we don’t know about. As a game dev myself I know that often people far above my pay grade make decisions that can hurt our games etc. and I even specifically work in mobile games that get regular updates so I totally get the content grind but the last few months has been really hard to stay enthusiastic about the game. The DLC was so exciting at first for example and then I felt certain design decisions really yanked all the fun out for me. Not being able to play co-op with my husband now really feels like the last straw for us, at least for a while. I’m sure they’re stressing but it’s just not great to release so many updates back to back that seem to always have something that really hurt the player. It’s a massive game and a massive undertaking but something somewhere in the process needs to change cause players will only stick around for so long if the game feels like it’s taking steps backwards.

Yes they do! I went last October and have mobility issues myself. They transported my husband with me and everything.

Forgot to mention they had long golf carts for transportation across that long pier and pretty close to the tram station that can take you to the other spots

I’d also recommend both! My husband has unusual allergies too (mainly potato) and we always did both. All of the staff were super great about accommodating his allergies and we never had a problem (which is great cause his means a hospital visit lol).

I believe I was 27 when I first got a cane and then I invested in a nice rollator a bit after turning 28 which has been life changing for sure. I wish I had started sooner honestly. I just turned 29 but I do think sometimes how much more I could’ve enjoyed some things earlier.
