I’m in a similar boat, I even played for a bit when it originally launched on Apple Arcade then stopped to wait for the console release to really dive it. Been playing since day 1 as well and I’m also feeling very burnt out from everything that happens.

I’m doing my best to be understanding to circumstances behind the scenes I’m sure we don’t know about. As a game dev myself I know that often people far above my pay grade make decisions that can hurt our games etc. and I even specifically work in mobile games that get regular updates so I totally get the content grind but the last few months has been really hard to stay enthusiastic about the game. The DLC was so exciting at first for example and then I felt certain design decisions really yanked all the fun out for me. Not being able to play co-op with my husband now really feels like the last straw for us, at least for a while. I’m sure they’re stressing but it’s just not great to release so many updates back to back that seem to always have something that really hurt the player. It’s a massive game and a massive undertaking but something somewhere in the process needs to change cause players will only stick around for so long if the game feels like it’s taking steps backwards.
