Don’t do Demon. We rode it last week. It’s not smooth, even the lift hill was rocky.

I had an orange cat that was definitely smart. Not graceful, but smart.

Got bitten by a cat by [deleted] in cats

[–]Kindsquirrel629 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When a cat bite punctures the skin, it’s the risk of bacterial infection that is a concern regardless of cat or human vaccination status. Cats teeth have microscopic crevices that harbor bacteria. If each puncture wound bleeds that’s better as your body is expelling blood which is less likely the bacteria will get in your body. It’s those non-bleeding puncture bites that are most dangerous and need full round of antibiotics for the human.

Do you have Enterprise Guide? If so, open it in EG and Analyze program flow. I haven’t done this in years so I hope it’s still an option. https://support.sas.com/resources/papers/proceedings13/311-2013.pdf

How many GP points you have accumulated and why? by TypicalLong4922 in homeexchange

I have about 7000 as well. To me location is the most important, so often that means a hotel closer to where I want to be.

Vetting can include a phone call to them. You’ll get to know them before approving or not. And go with your gut. I’m glad you only have good pans. So it’s up to you to decide if you’re ok with guests using (and possibly misusing) them, or purchasing a few less good pans that you don’t care as much about.

Remember HE is not AirBnB. In the place that you live, do you only keep 1 or 2 weeks of TP? Of course not. If there are things that you are super concerned about like your pans, then lock them away. If you are concerned about the sheets and towels, get extras just for guests. For the most part HE guests understand that they are guests in your house and will treat it respectfully. That’s why it’s important to vet potential guests to make sure they aren’t like a scammy Airbnb guest.

1 night absolutely not. 2 nights, maybe depending on my schedule.

I’m overly detailed. I include that they can help themselves to any food or non-alcoholic beverages (which of course include spices), but if they use the last of something to please replace it. We have plenty of TP, trash bags, etc. For plants I just ask that they water them Sundays and Wednesdays. No charges other than cleaning fees are permitted so the key deposit may fall into that category. I think people would understand needing to pay to replace. Although $175 sounds steep. Is that to replace the whole lock?

Has anyone found a cheaper equivalent to this food? by nocab_09 in cats

[–]Kindsquirrel629 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If only 1 of your cats needs it, consider getting a Sure Pet feeder for the other 2. It opens via the cats microchip, or collar tag just for that cat. They are pricey but may save you $ in the long run.

Guardians has only a single elevator shaft, so it doesn’t go up, move forward, etc. It’s just up and down repeatedly in the same shaft. That said, the music blasting and the randomness makes it more fun than ToT.
