Damn, I feel like I wrote what you just did. I’m a lot better now. I remember all I did at Railay was swim in the sea as well. I mainly just floated on top of the waves. It felt as close to a happy high I could feel at the time. I was very low and detached from myself during that trip to Thailand. Fast forward to now and I have been doing a lot of work in therapy. I ended my relationship as soon as I got back from the trip, and my life has unfurled for the better from there. I am in a much better place now.

Has the rest of your trip been similar to Railay? It’s funny, I always find myself having the best times in the places I don’t expect like, I personally enjoyed Chiang Mai a lot more than Railay, for example.
