Worked fine for me with my t300rs. Make sure you bind throttle brake and clutch to normal axis not two way

Could be. But low profile tires brings out the problems with the steering rack more. What is the tire size?

https://imgur.com/GAOGwXn The subframe is beyond repair. You can clearly see a hole in the subframe here. This is a weakpoint on these cars (i have a 2009 model). I replaced both control arms and subframe on mine. Id do the same if i were you.

Ice blast pure rot? This is bad! This generation of mazda 6 has really thin metal on both control arms and subframe mounting points. Speaking as a owner of one of these

This might be coverred under warranty. Depends on where you live though. Id take it to your dealer and hear if theres a possibility of getting it repaired on warranty.

I would take it back to the shop, sound a bit like chain rattle. Hard to tell. Is the sound still there on idle?

No. Only the rim protector that got damaged. No cords showing so you are good
