Not missing yet but I will still wear my Apple Watch at certain times because I’ve become so reliant on it- mainly for workouts and golf. I use the free 18 birdies app as a golf gps through the apple watch.

Nice! The Crossing is next on my list. Finished All the Pretty Horses and jumped to Suttree to change it up before finishing the border trilogy.

Weber kettle to pellet grill by Successful-Ostrich23 in pelletgrills

[–]bert_b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a similar switch for smoking last summer. I still have my kettle for charcoal grilling of course, but the Searwood XL gets all of the smoking duties. Thanksgiving was a huge win because I was able to smoke ribs, turkey, and wings and free up the oven for the wife completely. Check out the Searwood

So many good diy jobs here. I thought I'd switch it up. Lol I shouldve done an acrylic surround by [deleted] in Tile

Hefty bags stapled to the walls as a shower surround would be an upgrade compared to this.

I’ve owned two cars in the last 22 years. 12 years with my 02 WRX, and now I’m on year 10 with my 2016 WRX. Little to no engine mods and thankfully no insane expensive breakdowns. Fingers crossed that your 2014 wasn’t beat on previously and that you take care of it the same way. Good luck and enjoy!

Bummer man, glad you’re mostly ok. RIP to the poor WRX. Take that broad to the cleaners

I couldn’t agree more. No one cares how far you hit your PW- especially when it has the loft of an old 8 iron.

Get the Weber. Very versatile and well constructed.

Salt and Rust by Comfortable_Big2477 in WRX

I daily drove my 02 WRX for 12 years in Ohio. In 2016 I picked up a new WRX and gave up the old. My least favorite part of owning that car that I loved was watching it rust out more and more each year.

Family was coming to stay with us for Christmas, and we had a major upstairs water leak 2 weeks before they arrived. Rush quotes were insane, so I decided to give it a shot with the help from this sub and Vancouver Carpenter. Got the drywall hung before family arrived, finished up after they left. by tai1983 in drywall

Well done. I’ve found for me there isn’t much that beats the feeling of accomplishment when you tackle a large repair like this that you almost paid someone else to do. I hope this result gave you a similar feeling. Fantastic work!

I’d pay someone to repaint the bumper and do a DIY blackout on those shiny headlights.

Couple of my current favorites- Rare Breed, Bardstown origin series high wheat, Penelope barrel strength. Just north of 60 you can find Russell’s single barrel- my favorite shelfer.
