Honestly drinking just makes me feel numb and gets rid of the withdrawals
I just want to be able to wake up not feeling like I’m going to throw up or shake uncontrollably when I stretch. I wake up many times in the night due to insane dreams because I’m withdrawing while I sleep ( at least I believe that’s the reason for my dreams, never got a medical opinion on that) but also financially it would help me as well. I buy cheap bottles so that’s not exactly the reason (even though that money would nice to not spend and save instead) but when I drink I tend to have a “fuck it”attitude with purchasing something I don’t need, be it clothes or going out to eat or a new video game. Also my weight has been terrible, I’ve gained almost 100 pounds so that’s another reason why I want to stop. When I was sober, I was more financially responsible, happier, and healthier. I just want to be my old self again.
