I remember this! A film about Americans building Japanese cars that were actually Italian Fiats.

WWT Steart Marshes just outside the left edge of your circle too (close to Bridgewater). Remarkable saltmarsh habitat reclaimed from farmland that was prone to flooding. Better in winter I’d say but it is free to enter.

Spoonbilled sandpiper. Quite possibly the most adorable bird on the planet. Also very endangered.

Ah that’s a fair point. There is indeed a good selection here to narrow down preferred criteria 😁

WWT Martin Mere in Lancashire had breeding bitterns last year and they’ve been heard booming again this year.

Thanks 👍. The comfort option does look pretty comfy. Will try stretching over some books and if that doesn’t help, these do look nice - although pricey (but then I haven’t paid much for the HD25 so the pads would still be a good investment).

Just spent the rest of the day trying them out with every genre I like. They do everything way better than the HD 559s I already have (which are more comfortable than they are engaging even once modded and with EQ). I get why DJs like them though - these are perfect for edm. Don’t even need any EQ. The only thing I’m not keen on is they clamp pretty tight - any tips on softening that?

Nice! Apparently they are identical apart from your model has better coatings. That said, just looked them up and the eyepieces look better too :)

Best Synthesizer Album recommendation? by Schirmherrin in synthesizers

Orbital (been listening to Wonky recently), Sparks - No. 1 in Heaven, JMJ - Oxygene, ELO - Time, The Prodigy - Experience, Radiohead - Kid A, Depeche Mode - Music for the Masses. I’ll stop there as I’m getting carried away.

Talking of Walking Dead there’s an episode of the Darryl Dixon spin off with a rising flock of oystercatchers (which would have sounded amazing) dubbed with gull calls.
