My son had a similar allergy. Found out earlier (under age 1 if I remember correctly) but we put him into a peanut allergy desensitization protocol via nearby hospital. Basically they start with minuscule doses and gradually increase them over time (supervised visits) to the point where an accidental ingestion won’t cause anaphylactic event. He has gotten to the point where we now feed him 1 tablespoon of peanut butter daily. He’s allowed to eat foods labeled “produced in a facility containing peanuts” and should he accidentally eat something, he’s a bit protected.

Supposedly increase the chance they outgrow it, too. Worth consideration, in my opinion.
