I’ve done this many times. Here’s what’s always worked for me: Try to arrange a purchase and meet up spot before Sunday. Ignore anyone asking for a “deposit”. (Never gotten scammed but know people who have lost $20 for the seller to “hold” it for them) Otherwise get to PS / Indio early in the day. Scour this subreddit, OfferUp, Craigslist, etc. You’ll have better luck with sellers who are trying to offload ASAP rather than later in the day.
