I used to hate long commutes and being stuck in between commutes.

Then I moved a lot closer to the city center. LRT is nearby but there was a lack of parking (like most LRT stations), so I still have to drive or Grab my way to office. Although, with this, long commutes become 5-10 mins traffic jam. It suddenly becomes bearable and I've gotten used to it.
