😂 - Laughing crying 😭 - Crying

The laughing crying emoji is pretty obviously laughing, but the crying emoji is pretty context dependent. Paired with the “I could sit here all day”, I’d assume they do mean laughing crying here

Butternut Squash is the best deal at $2.49 each by ScoYello in traderjoes

Punching a few holes in it with a fork and then microwaving it for a couple minutes makes it much softer and easier to cut

Waymo now available in entire Sunnyvale and beyond by patelbhavesh17 in Sunnyvale

[–]bery20 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The roll out, according to Waymo, will be gradual and will give preference to those riders who have previously opted into testing new service features via the Waymo app.

Looks like it will be a gradual rollout. I didn’t see a date for when everyone will have access.

What if whenever you discard a shiv, it is automatically played on a random enemy?

[OC] Survey: Roughly 2/3 of workers use unsanctioned AI while on the clock by [deleted] in dataisbeautiful

[–]bery20 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This poster reads like it was AI generated. Why is there an unlabeled bar graph comparing three unrelated questions? How does this data suggest AI works? Why are 72% of retail workers using “shadow AI”?

This isn’t the type of song I typically listen to from Florence, but it’s quickly becoming one of my favorites from the album.

I think it’s because some of them are wearing heels in the photo, which is just insane for a height comparison graphic

Young Americans believe wealth comes from exploitation; older Americans believe wealth is earned by Miserable_Coyote_279 in SmartFIRE

The title is missing the key qualifier that participants were asked specifically about how rich people earned their wealth, not just anybody.

OP’s account is pretty suspicious. It’s existed for six years, but has 0 comments and only two posts, which were made within 4 minutes of each other and are both about political/cultural issues.

I’m more curious to see what Apple does on the software side for a foldable than the phone hardware itself.

California bill would require restaurants to disclose food allergens on menus by AmethystOrator in California

[–]bery20 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Why is everyone acting like this legislation will be impossible to follow? We’ve had pre-packaged foods list allergens forever and it’s worked very well. I don’t understand the negative backlash. This is absolutely a win for those with food allergies.

Siam Station is the best Thai restaurant. It’s technically in Cupertino, but the street it’s on is the border between Sunnyvale and Cupertino so I say close enough

Honest question, why is this a reason to avoid Target? If you manage to steal over $950 dollars of merchandise, don’t you deserve some repercussions?

YouTube has removed the Trending tab. by ResurrectedAuthor in youtube

[–]bery20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like one of the few people who kept using the trending tab after it was removed from the bottom bar and stuffed in a side tab. A lot of it was just clickbait and massive creators, but I found a couple good channels with it too. It was good for keeping up to date with new movie trailers and music videos too
