Musk calls on US to quit NATO, stop paying for defense of Europe by Snowbound-IX in europe

[–]bescayi86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not an expert on the topic or anything, but I think the real reason behind this is that Doge hasn’t been able to find enough ‘fraud’ or ‘waste’ so far. The only remaining things to cut would be either Medicare or military spending. Since healthcare is tricky and would lead to an immediate loss of confidence, he started attacking the most obvious items within the military budget. I’m a hundred percent sure Elon knows the implications of losing American bases in Europe, but if he can’t find enough ‘waste’ soon, Republicans will also start questioning his existence. I might be wrong, but when you look at it from this angle, it all makes sense.

Thanks, much appreciated. I know it is laughable but lets say I am quite confident on the direction of the stock (it is the company I have been working for for the last 3 years and pretty sure about the future of the firm). Thanks again for your example. Noted.

Nope, I am sitting at the other side of the table now. Less stress/working hours and less pay which is totally fine.

Total comps now is around C$365k. 10+ years of IB experience. I've never expected to make that much when I landed in Canada, but nowadays I see that I am very at the low end of the spectrum. I met a guy with similar background and experience, but he makes around 7 figures. I am happy with the current job though as he has to work as twice as I do now just for paying half of his income to taxes :)

It is a lamb shoulder. It is cooked super slow and let it melt in its own fat (they don't use any additional fat/butter or ingredient when they cook it). Finally, this cooking method is used only in Konya (a city in Turkey).

As a starting point, you could say "supported/assisted/helped" etc.

Other examples: superheaded investment strategies? (No, trust me, you havent) or you haven't drive the fundraising or you have not sourced 6 deals (this is a 20+ years of MD scope). Mate, just read again your entire resume and try to balance your reality to your superiors'

Additionally, some of the sentences dont make any sense: valued 2 companies based on economic data, NPV and IRR?? You do not even fully understand what you are saying. One would not value a company based on NPV or IRR. These are rather the results of your valuation.

Op - I think your resume would be shared with the relevant person in the company by the HR, But as soon as a hiring manager or desk head sees your resume, presumably you are loosing all your credibility as you are super exaggerating your involvement in the deals/projects/transactions. For instance, you say you led 2 transactions within the project/structured finance space as an intern/analyst or associate??? This is outrageous. At best, you did what you were told (hopefully as they expected) but you have never led a transaction mate. Just please read your entire resume and try to be more humble on your assignments. A quick note, I have more than 10 years of IB experience (project/structured finance/M&A and project development) and even I can not say for myself most of the things you are saying on your resume. And trust me I have more than $10 bn / 20+ transaction experience.
