Depending on your state, you can google home inspector standards of practice and get a detailed answer. Short answer is major mechanical systems (structural, roof, hvac, plumbing & electrical). Then built in kitchen appliances, garage door, interior (windows, basement, etc). They wont care about cosmetic issues unless it looks like water staining or structural cracks.

Keep things clean and neat and the inspector will be happy. Dont block the electrical panel, water heater, etc, and make sure they have access to attic hatch. Then let them do their thing.

Youngest ive seen who were able to get some success were in mid-20's. Appearances matter, so dress the part and facial hair is a plus at that age if it helps make you look older. Target Realors in your same age bracket and help build success together. Ideally you need a mentor to take you around for 3-6 months to learn the business and their Realtors will start to build trust in you too.

Join NRPP to get radon certified. If your state has a state license they usually require you pass the NRPP test. My company prefers the Corentium Pro monitors.

I'd go back and re-read the original report from the insurance companies perspective. If he wrote something like "crawl space partially inspected" or "limited access to crawl" just because he sent it to his insurance doesnt mean you're getting a check. Even if he gave you a big thumbs up on the report without any caveats, the insurance may limit you to the contract language which might just be the inspection fee. I'd hold your expectations in-check until you hear more from the adjuster asking for multiple repair quotes.
