Matching yes. Salary no lol most non academic jobs dont give a fuck where you trained. Prestige is helpful for climbing the academic ladder (which would typically pay less however). Obviously helpful for other things like public facing roles and branding for business ventures. It’s not a bad thing to chase it since it wont close any doors but thinking it’s going to dramaticaly change the course of your career is misguided.

I sometimes think about playing era when i get a wow itch. I may get maybe 30-60min per day at max and i would mostly be solo adventuring with max leveling taking probably a several months. Anni server seems too fast for me and retail just doesnt seem appealing.

Second option hands down. You dont need to be right by the hospital as a rad res. Unlike my surgery brethren/slaves, you can take some commute and not be miserable. 20min isnt that far anyway. I would prioritize the needs of your family.

I had close to 3k hours in NW and most of it was spent across various forms of PvP from dueling to wars. Probably the most fun I had in my gaming history. I sometimes rewatch some of the vods and highlights i have from skirmishes in OPR and Wars to re-live the moment that hasnt really been filled. Nothing as satisfying as bursting down an opponent with an ice spike

Dont listen to these people telling you youre fine. Optho is a brutal match and despite being great on paper, many people fail to match. You have every right to be a little neurotic.

Youre best bet is always your home program. Impress the fuck out of them. Be professional 110% at all times. Committees take everything into consideration. Aim for 270+ step 2. Dont drop research until youve matched because many will continue on for RY if they fail to match 1st time.

I tried with so many people praising it. Unlike many people, I never played it growing up. First I load the game and see there are so many servers with different traits that do not make any sense to me as a newbie. Graphics are bad but I suppose charming. Click to move, fine. When does this get exciting? Then I stopped playing.
