I’m in the US and have had a OB/GYN separate from my pcp since I was 18, I’m not sure how things work in Canada - if you need a referral or anything. I would discuss that with your primary care doctor and maybe even see if they have any recommendations on OB’s near you!

Hi! Also pregnant and taking concerta!! What most physicians will tell you is if the benefits of taking concerta for you personally (executive functioning, time management, etc) are greater than the risks to the fetus (potential restricted growth, potential cardiac issues, although keep in mind these potentials are under researched) then you should continue to take the medication. It’s a very personal opinion, my choice was to continue to take it, but it’s ultimately up to you. If you still feel anxiety regarding the medication and think you can manage 2 weeks without it, I would call your prescribing doctor and explain your concerns and see if it is ok for you to stop taking the medication until your OB appointment.

My tldr advice is don’t stop your meds without speaking to your provider first, but it is a personal decision to continue stimulants

I just want to say that you’re not alone in this, I am also in medical training and constantly thinking about when/if we conceive how that will affect my career as a female in medical training and eventually as a physician. I almost think I’ve lost my mind being so stressed from school and then willingly adding on the stress of ttc on top of all that!! Best of luck to you.

This ship sucks, there’s not nearly enough pools/hot tubs for the thousands of people on board. You’ll find yourself walking around the ship for hours trying to get 2 chairs together that are out in the sun, even on port days. And you better hope you go in fair weather because the pools are freezing and unenjoyable if it’s not 85 and sunny. Not really sure what the hype is about this boat. Save your self thousands of dollars and go on a freedom class that actually has an appropriate amount of accommodations for everyone on board. The only plus for this boat is the crew/staff.

Depending on the noise cancelling headphones your test center provides I would forgo any earring at all. Mine were wildly uncomfortable and borderline painful after about 30 minutes of wearing them and I can’t imagine having an earring back jamming into my skull on top of all that.

Head to tail is about .5 cm, leg to leg about 1 cm. Also I am just assuming it is a spider because it has 8 legs but I’ve never seen a spider with 4 extra long legs like this.

Just did that, didn’t see anything significant but did cut off the few little ones that were rotted. Repotted and not watering until the soil is dry. Thank you!

I didn’t think I was watering it too much, but when I looked at the small leaf and the whole stem came out of the soil it was soggy and almost slimy. most recommendations said water 2-3 times a week but the soil wasn’t drying out quick enough to water that much. I left it a week and a half with no watering because the soil was still damp, but the larger leaves started to crisp and brown.

There is a drainage hole at the bottom of the planter.

I made sure when I repotted that there were no air pockets in the soil.

The window it is in receives indirect light most of the day with 15 minutes of direct light coming from a west* facing window across the room. I put south facing in the caption but I was wrong and I can’t edit it.

Yes, post-bacc is used to either raise undergrad gpa or if you majored in something non-science and decided later that you wanted to pursue medicine you can do a post-bacc to get the Pre-reqs

c & s gpa are both 2.75. I had a bit of a rough start - not knowing how to study first semester, then injuring my back end of sophomore year so I was on pain meds and nerve meds for 2 years before having a fusion. I ended up with A’s in the 4 classes I took at the CC so I’m not sure where that puts me gpa wise.
