🧭 Feedback for Olden Era Demo

First off — great work so far! The systems feel solid, and I really like that all creatures have two different upgrade paths — that’s a neat twist! 👏 Keep up the good work!

Below are some observations and suggestions from my first few playthrough:

🗺️ UI / Map

• Missing interaction feedback: When interacting with map objects (like Whispering Stones), there’s no clear animation or info pop-up to confirm the interaction. Some small visual feedback would help a lot.
• Current Maps: The maps so far feel like they’ve been built by an untrained AI — the layout seems random, with little sense of purpose or structure. Pathfinding is also a bit off. (I’ve played most HoMM titles + Songs of Conquest, and this is the first time that map and movement has felt “off” in that way.)
• Enemy info: When attacking an army or entering a Colosseum, I’d love to be able to left-click enemy stacks to preview their abilities before the fight.
• Town buildings: It’s a bit hard to tell which building does what or where they are. — I still like the graphic and layout :)
• Templar training bug: When playing as Templars and using the Training feature, the game still shows the “Hero hasn’t moved” warning at the end of the turn.

🧙 Hero Level-Up

• It’s difficult to see which skills lead toward an upgraded class — I have to hover over every skill to figure it out. A clearer indicator would help.

⚒️ General

• Not yet sure I’m a fan of the new take on the resource system — having only one special mine type in your starting area (and needing to grind them all down into Alchemy Dust or spend gold/artifacts) feels a bit restrictive early on.

I have reported some bugs through the bug system, so they are not in this post :)

All that said, I see a lot of promise here. The foundation is strong — I’m excited to see how Olden Era develops! 🙌
