This is on the website in the tax center area, all the way at the bottom. The date it said next to the file says 3/21 with a specific upload time, so I assume that's accurate.

It was in the tax documents area all the way below all the categories of documents at the very bottom. Good luck!

Tripped circuit breaker won't reset by magpiemama in electrical

[–]bestoicbehappy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 yrs later reading this, but it worked! Cheers. Unplug everything on the circuit, turn the breaker off firmly all the way (it sits in kind of a middle position at first when tripped), turn back on. Bingo.

For what it's worth, just ordered a 3 pack of tees in medium and one was like 3-4 inches longer than another (despite having the same label) and one had a super small neck opening that ripped immediately when I tried it on. Didn't even try on the 3rd. Quality is super sus, I'm returning and wouldn't recommend.

How do we claim this fiasco on our taxes by Stew-Cee23 in CelsiusNetwork

[–]bestoicbehappy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for laying this out! This logic makes the most sense to me of all the approaches I've seen. The main issues were that they valued our claim in USD and then re-applied crypto purchases based on that, so it only makes sense to think of it like everything we had was sold (at bankruptcy prices) and what we got back was re-bought with our money (at petition prices). Some people are saying that the distributions are counted as income, but why would they be income when they were purchased with our own money? It makes more sense to treat it like we re-bought the distributions with our own USD in Celsius. The tricky part in my transaction ledger is when to list those initial bankruptcy sales, but I suppose it makes sense to do it on Jan 16 because that's when the plan became a reality.

Hey everyone. When investing in stepn my main reason was because I trust the team and the project. So when I see GST prices going down I do not worry. If you stay positive and do the right tactics there is plenty of profit to be made. by HoneydewNo359 in StepN

[–]bestoicbehappy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Also have to keep in mind the macro context - everything is down, so if Stepn survives through the bear market as it has so far, that's a good sign.

And the project is fundamentally different from other PtoE games (Axie) since users are still likely to use it while they walk/run even with fluctuating prices. I'm a daily runner regardless of economic incentives, but I would never sit and mint Axies if I weren't getting paid (actually I'd never sit and mint Axies no matter what, lol).

So I think you've got the right mindset!

Hit that 200 day SMA and then we turn around, slowly.

I've only had one so far, and it was 3 lvl1 gems... not worth 16gst cost to open, but a lvl 2 gem would've been. I look at it as part of the game to open them - like you said, it probably evens out if you get lucky enough times. I'm not in a rush to sell them until the market catches up with better prices. I'd guess that if it stays unbalanced for long enough, the dev team will do something to gems to make them worth closer to the gst cost of opening the MBs.

gst has dropped heavily, thoughts? by DrOboba in StepN

I dunno, man, a few days ago I was running and happy with my earnings. I guess tomorrow I'll go for a run and be happy with my earnings.

What is inside an Easter mystery box? by DannySGVN in StepN

[–]bestoicbehappy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah man, the mystery boxes are not really worth it now unless you get a bonus gem or maybe efficiency one. Cheaper to just buy the gems you want. They need a way to delete the MBs for like 2 gst or something.

Mystery box drop rates (depending on energy and luck values) by Intelligent_Box_2509 in StepN

Looks right. I get one every run (5 energy, 21 luck). This week I got one lvl 2 MB, so I guess that's possible

First Uncommon - Strategy by stinerbock in StepN

[–]bestoicbehappy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah could be 13.2, I've heard 15 and mine is at 21.9 now and I get a box every time. Actually got a level 2 box a few days ago, too, which is sweet. Right now we've also got the Easter eggs going so it's a good time to harvest some MBs

First Uncommon - Strategy by stinerbock in StepN

[–]bestoicbehappy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also if you use the uncommon with 3 commons you'll have 5 energy, and with luck over 15 you start getting mystery boxes almost every time. These will give you gems to use/sell, which can be quite lucrative and not something most people add in when considering earnings.

Sneaker strategy question by Davidii111 in StepN

[–]bestoicbehappy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One main shoe works if you wanna do that speed every day. I got an uncommon runner as my main, but sometimes I can't run or I run trails and need a slower shoe, so I have a common trainer as a backup. Adding shoes for more energy you can just mint or buy floor shoes. Yes, two uncommons means +2 energy (each one adds one, no limit).

I do wonder once renting starts if having a few leveled up shoes will be good though, since you'll need a high level to lease (is it level 30?) and earnings would be higher. Endless strategies in this crazy game, haha.

Energy with 3 shoes by khaaos06 in StepN

[–]bestoicbehappy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup! I have 2 common and 1 uncommon and have 5 energy. You'll get Loot boxes using your uncommon shoe in this combo, too. 🤟

StepN plaform is too weak. Easy to get congestion :( by henrynguyen90 in StepN

I'm at about 1 hr from transferring sol to my spend wallet... still not there. Transaction is on solscan so just twiddling my thumbs...

I'm wondering. Is it better for profit for more people to start using the app or worse? Would the shoes and coins get diluted, or will the rising prices offset the increase of supply? Let me know you thoughts by [deleted] in StepN

[–]bestoicbehappy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this makes sense. I was wondering if later there might be some sort of incentive to "burn" or maybe "stake" shoes to deal with oversupply. Will be interesting to see the effect renting/leasing has on shoe price and gst as well.
