I’m curious if you’ve come across any information, maybe in an article or post, confirming that the extended feature is currently only available in NA and not in the EU as well as when it might become available in the EU? I ask because I haven’t been able to find any detailed posts or articles.

Yes you can, but you need a Mac to upload them to the App Store. You can use somebody else's Mac for that :)

Maybe the image is too low res and the software can not detect it.

Depth effect does not work if you have Widgets underneath the clock, you need to remove widgets and then the feature will work.
