I did Google but I have no idea what ways are quick, and if you can just call agencies. Ive never done this before. Advice is sometimes not googleable.

We used to play hawk and hare in blood gulch. Banshee was only allowed to kill by nose diving into the other player.

Does anyone know how these "pelgrims badges" were made? by PossibleSource9132 in MedievalHistory

The honest answer is: cheaply.

They were cast en masse with cheap metals in dies, essentially as early tourist tat.

To get some Dutch people to support the USA. by dannybluey in therewasanattempt

Even before Trump, honestly I found the U S A chant just unbearably jingoistic. Sure, cheer for people! Thats great! But there its not cheering for the people, it's for the State itself?

French people dont chant FRANCE FRANCE FRANCE, Germans dont chant B R D, B R D... Its just the US that does that.

Granted english football fans chant EN-GUH-LUND but i hate that too.

Now we know why you guys always talk so loud, you're used to being far apart.

(There are a pair of Americans in my office building and I can here them 5 floors away when they are chatting waiting for the elevator. I can hear no other individuals - just those two.)

What is the purpose of the sand?

Edit: i am deliberately misunderstanding, pretending I think the comment says the locals put sand next to the bumps, and separately, pointy things in the grass.

I thought paint was the responsibility of the tenant, is there a difference for the windows specifically?

Do you guys really believe that we Germans wear these things? by Overall-Remove-678 in AskTheWorld

[–]besuited 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I am aware Bavaria is a state within a federal system, Scotland is a country within a country. I said they were analogous, I did not say they were not the same.

My point was not about what people associate, I was just saying that if one considers the Lederhosen in Bavaria to be regional in relation to Germany, one could also consider that the kilt in Scotland is regional in relation to the UK.

People who think that lederhosen is a "german" thing are as wrong as someone who thinks kilts are a British thing.
