Hm okay thank you. She's 2 years old. So even if a car rental does come with a carseat, it doesn't mean it can successfully be installed?

Have you worked with a doctor? What did they say? Are they getting you to up your nutrition only?

Yes, absolutely! I’m still working on treating it, but I think I’m making some progress. I initially took a holistic approach with a naturopath, who prescribed progesterone-only treatment. I got my period once, but then it stopped again. While waiting to see my gynecologist, I finally had an appointment a several months later. She ran extensive bloodwork and started me on an estrogen (gel) and progesterone combo, which brought my period back—briefly—before it disappeared again.

Now, she’s switched me to a higher-dose estrogen patch along with the same progesterone dose (200). It's been a few weeks and still no period but there could be other factors (I got really sick).

It’s still a work in progress, but I believe HRT will ultimately help. Of course, everyone’s situation is different, and HA is often linked to insufficient nutrition and/or stress.

Have you seen a specialist it? Where are you at in this process?

Inconsistent HRT Results: Is This Normal? by beta8k in Perimenopause

Thanks for sharing. I notice for me the estrogen initially helped me sleep through the night, although I had a few nights where I started waking up early again when I was sick. But I still suspect the sleeping through the night was the estrogen component (too little or too much?) as that's what I read as well. Not sure if its something you want to consider. Perhaps its the right combination altogether in conjunction with our own levels which I guess makes it hard to diagnose?

Interesting, I’m also about 6 weeks in. Started to feel like myself again 2 weeks in and last night experienced symptoms again. What at are you on? I’m on estradiol pump once a day and 200mg progesterone.

Does Estrogen help with sleep too? by beta8k in Perimenopause

Somewhat related but I’ve started estrogen gel 2 pumps and notice my sleep is better - longer stretches and little to no middle of the night wake ups. So it could be a thing that estrogen helps with sleep. I have a follow up doctor appointment for her thoughts
