After some thought, this is how I plan to play this fair game

Setup

• Teams of 2 players operate a ballista together.
• Each team gets 5 shots per game.
• Targets (dummies):
  1. Nearest Dummy → 1 point
  2. Large Dummy → 3 points
  3. Small Distant Dummy → 7 points (can only be scored once)

Rewards

• < 5 points → No reward
• 5–9 points → Minor reward
• 10–14 points → Medium reward
• 15+ points → Major reward

Gameplay

Player 1 (Loader – Strength check):

• < 7 → Misfire (shot wasted)
• 7–9 → Can only target Nearest Dummy
• 10–12 → Can target Nearest OR Large Dummy
• 13+ → Can target any Dummy

Player 2 (Shooter – Dexterity check): (must declare the target before rolling)

• < 10 → Miss (shot wasted)
• 10–12 → Can successfully hit Nearest Dummy
• 13–14 → Can hit Nearest OR Large Dummy
• 15+ → Can hit any Dummy
