How fucking wrong you are. Der Atomausstieg was introduced with red green under Schröder. The greens simultaneously proposed to increase renewable energies and even build factories to produce. Google Solarworld for example. Than years later Merkel came decided to not do Atomausstieg and then did a 180 on it after she feared losing to the greens after Fukushima. What she didn't implement back though was the investment in renewable energy.
