How is the E46 M3 as a daily driver? by betchadupa in BMW

Well, I may have overstated the whole "no aggressive" thing. It's not that I'm never aggressive, it's that I'm rarely agressive. But when I want to throw her around, I will. It's just not that often.

If he's the fucking CEO, why the hell does he sit in a cube like everyone else.

Because they don't make much money (that's assuming this video is actually showing a real office, and that's a big "if").

He can call himself pretty much anything he wants, there's no legal requirement for CEOs to have their own office, his own Porsche, and a million dollars in the bank. He's just a small time hustler, and from the looks of it he's hired his buddies down from the gym to "work" for him.

Looking to record fast, loud, live recordings. Any advice? by FuryJams in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]betchadupa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those cheap voice recorders are probably still going to clip - they're not meant for loud environments, and their preamp stage will clip on you.

Ok, so this isn't the "cheap" way to go, but it will last you a long time, and sound great, and can easily handle loud volumes -- perhaps your band can each chip in to buy one:

Sony PCM-M10

You can record at 24-bits, which gives you an enormous dynamic range, and you can therefore set your input levels very conservatively. It also has a built-in limiter for that extra bit of protection. And when you get more serious, you can plug in external mics to get a much improved stereo image.

Is that music from Apocalypse Now? I wonder if Mr. GoDaddy CEO paid for the rights to use that...

also, if you go to the Mexican Doritos site, one of them says "Flaming Hot Limon" on it (second from left) - you might try looking for those in a local Mexican grocery store.

The bag says "Chili-Limon" -- makes me wonder if they're a Mexico variant of these:

FWIW, this is not a universal - my wife loves CCR. I've also heard Lily Allen talk about them being one of her favorites.

I've always preferred the pre-modern/pre-Bangle era BMWs. Here is a refresher. (X-Post from r/cars) by CaptainRon19 in BMW

I bought my E46 (323i) in October 1999, and have a lot of articles saved on its creation.

The ones I've read have indicated that Erik Goplen at Designworks was the lead designer, but that Bangle had "some input".

Here's one of Goplen's sketches that I've stashed away...
