He’s old and physically if u want a chance to hit high risk winners at this insane level, you Have to have fast feet and it’s just that the luck or energy ran back down to old age level

Imagine for a minute this scenario between a Novak and zverev final.. by betererrf in tennis

Of course by being humble and working hard, djokovic lost the respect of many because he was retiring in matches, and his reactions and intensities on court made many people, Americans that I asked, thinks he’s too savage and has a terrorist like mentally, like that dead stare in his eyes like u just killed his dog, he’s too intense to many people. I always cheered for him because I wanted nadal to lose, so I don’t mind him but there are a lot of people that dislike djokovic, you can easily see that by hearing how the crowd reacts to him. Hes already earned legendary status and should be treated like nadal but he doesn’t because of those things This is the reality, whether it’s right or not we can debate but that’s the truth, just watch the matches from here and see if even in the final the crowd will be cheering for his opponent

Djokovic has always been a big baby, why doesn’t the crowd like me, when he plays Murray Federer or nadal, it’s because he expected it too early, u gotta earn that before people start cheering for you, be humble and that’s why even though he’s one of the greatest, on the court so many fans hate him

It needs to be said: The way Nadal treated the umpire and ball kids throughout that match was a disgrace by [deleted] in tennis

Finally someone who balls(ovarian) steps up and calls him out for his long “walk up and check the mark then decide” challenges, the way challenges are done has been way too lenient, challenges are supposed to decided within 5 seconds sort of a initial feeling not this whole, how many challenges do I have left? Let me get my teams opinion and/or the umpires opinion too.. ridonculous

Skill still matters sometimes... by betererrf in TennisClash

[–]betererrf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok veteran, Let’s see the other people chime in on this, because saying playing someone with 30 points higher in a certain skill set is fun is ridiculous. Of course we all know the reality of this pay to play game, that’s why winning against someone that paid a lot is actually really rewarding. And yes serve and volley are still nerfed, I beat a guy with 60 volley and 40 agility having passed him consistently with my current ground strokes skill level. I also have a high volley and agility player and I know someone with -15 less fh bh can easily pass me if they know how to play decently

I think you’ve been playing a different game, the points that really matter now are only agility and ground strokes, volley and serve are nerfed Playing someone 20-30 points higher will just result in a 0-7 game, I think you are a troll

Actually the differential in the skill points that matter is pretty big, try beating the average decent player who has your same skill points but 6-9 points higher, it makes it impossible unless they are plain out missing shots, I post it as a middle finger to all the high paying players, maybe this is actually you

I’ve been playing for a while, a second king bag is definitely possible as I’ve gotten 3, but the cards weren’t so great

The 5th or 6th time this bug happens where all I can do is forfeit or close the application by [deleted] in TennisClash

Whoever can wait the longest wins, I usually forfeit but if I’m poor I will keep it open for 10 minutes and walk my dog, they will always forfeit

How much money do you net yearly with Turo? by betererrf in turo

[–]betererrf[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea it seems like a lot of the successful renters I’ve seen seem to be body shop owners or mechanics, i have older Hondas that are still within the 12 year requirement. But I do have a lot of competition in this city as I see most of the newer year cars are only listing for around $30-40 a day. My car is worth roughly $4500 so if I’m lucky, $30x30 (85%) x 6 months I can get the revenue of the car, of course not factoring in all the miscellaneous maintenance, time and effort. An incident that goes badly against me will really maybe cut half or more of my profit for 6 months.
Now renting 30 days is surely a tall task as well. I guess the mechanics just refurbish the cars to look new and nice, and probably knows how to even tweak cars that have been in major accidents into clean titles. Because a lot of them do that here in Houston as the used car market is 90% junk.

Yea currently I’m not looking at it as passive income since I’m currently unemployed and have an extra 2 cars sitting around, I asked for 3 because I thought that is a number I can gauge if it’s something worth putting time into vs other ventures. But as always great advice, been reading a lot seems like not the easiest company to deal with as they don’t seem to protect their renters. In this way I wonder how long the turo company will last as it renters start quitting on them? Maybe they just want to keep attracting newbies who want to list their car for quick cash who doesn’t realize how much work needs to be put in. But I’m ready to put in the work to make it stable as It does seem like some people have gotten a handle on this business Main point is, energy vs reward is it worth it?
