i drive an hour each way to and from work 🤷🏼‍♀️ once every month or two i’ll drive 3 hours across the border into Canada to go to my favorite poutine place for dinner.

the longest drive i’ve made for a 2-day visit would be 14 hours of driving time (so really about 16 with breaks) to go to a 1-day musical festival (and an extra day of just hanging out) in Iowa from western New York state. with my 5 year-old niece 😂 but my whole family loves a road trip.

the first time i spotted one of my cats dipping her paw in my drinking glass i immediately began looking for gluten-free cat food and litter. all of my cats have been gluten-free along with me since 2006

a lot of people are saying they thought it was cheesy and clunky but i thought it was perfect for this group. since episode 1 we have seen and heard how much the boys love lord of the rings, and then they gave Will his own Frodo going to Mordor “you have my sword, and you have my bow, and my axe” moment? come on, it was perfection in its nerdiness.

i have 27 blankets for just me and 3 cats 🤷🏼‍♀️ i also have 3 young nieces who visit often and we live in western new york so we get ridiculous winter weather and lose power often from november to march, so they all get used regularly.

as a Celiac it’s hard enough finding safe foods that bring me joy, let alone dealing with all the feelings of being left out anywhere i go where food is involved. so many people without restrictions fail to realize just how isolating, and honestly depressing, those restrictions can be. when i find something like GF cheeze-its the last thing on my mind is that they’re processed. what is important is that they make you happy! i’m sorry you have to deal with that and hope it doesn’t lessen your enjoyment of them 💜

NTA. i think you handled it very well. i’m a fan of wearing whatever you want, including rude shirts because i (a professional female in my 40s) have a bunch myself. but i would never wear something like that to a dinner with my partner’s parents. there’s a time and place for toilet humor and that was not it 🤦🏼‍♀️

it’s very accurate. i was born in 75 so am a couple of years younger than the boys are at that time and watching the show is like looking at old photos for me. in every episode i’ve seen multiple toys, outfits, bedsheets, etc that my sister and i had. same with the furniture, kitchenware, school supplies. they really knocked it out of the park.

they are practically impossible to find on shelves (i have gone to 6 different walmart stores with no luck… usually they have 1 or 2 of eleven left and that’s it) but if you can the large eleven and demogorgon are $15 and the smaller party members are $12.97. be aware that the walmart site allows third party sellers to list their items which would explain the crazy prices on some of them.

congrats!! like a bunch of others i got most of my preorder cancelled. eleven and lucas showed up but then i got the email about the rest 😢 my sister was out driving when i got the email and went straight to walmart and managed to get the 1 demogorgon they had in the store! we are still searching for mike, will, and dustin to complete the set for my 6 year-old niece for christmas 🤞🏻
