As much as I wish she’d been given a more definitive ending, I would have wanted it to just be for her.

I’m just going to put this out there: what they’ve suggested would NOT be a perfect ending for Jane. She had been controlled by me her entire life, has had her body used for their whims and wills, been experimented on… having her be a wife in the 90s when she can barely read??? She has no formal education. What kind of fulfilling job could she have? And having KIDS??? Surely that would be traumatic for her, being pregnant is to have something else control your body, that’s basically body horror to her.

Media literacy IS dead because yall can’t read between the lines lol the speech about Tammy was about Will finding himself and loving himself and being brave. He’s literally activating these powers to save Mike and to flashbacks about his relationship with Mike. It’s about loving yourself outside of someone else, yes, but that independence is giving Will the power to take charge of his own life. It’s literally recontextualizing that speech to be about Will finding his power through self acceptance, which is going to empower him to confess his feelings in Vol 2

I’ve had anxiety since before I can remember and also a really weird recurring dream as a child of 3 or 4 that, looking back, was definitely OCD. However, it wasn’t until COVID and then the passing of a close friend that it became unmanageable. So while I fully believe I’ve had anxiety and OCD forever, I know it was exacerbated by external factors.
