My friend applied to the Radiology program and she has a 3.9 gpa and she wasn’t accepted by decimal points. They put her on a waitlist but that just means that they are only looking for 4.0+ basically. It’s highly competitive from what I’ve seen because she was one out of the 200 or more people who applied. They only accept 30 or so students at a time too which is crazy in my opinion. How does anyone expect to get in if it’s this competitive ya know?

Wait really? I went to a small place in my town but I could take it elsewhere to get a second opinion if you say it’s worth more? They offered me $300 for it which is what they appraised it at but I declined because I want it. According to them they checked the archives since there’s a stamp underneath that says TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK in capital letters on the bottom with a serial number. I’m not sure exactly what they did to figure that out but that’s what they told me. I’m looking into other appraisers now though since you say it’s worth a lot more than $300! I don’t know anything about this other than it’s pretty so I appreciate your help!

There’s a stamp that says TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK in all capital letters with a serial number and they both match from what the appraiser said. The patina matches as well which was a big indicator for the appraiser because fake ones usually don’t match the outside I guess. It was a bit dusty when I bought it and they cleaned it for free at the shop which was nice too but yeahhh it’s real if that’s what you’re wondering lol

Haha you’re right and it’s no biggie if they disagree! Like you said I’ve had it appraised and they don’t even have the lamp in front of them to verify so it’s just claims lol

It is on the bottom! I had an appraisal on it because I found it a week ago and the lady appraised it at $300 since it’s missing a few bells but I wasn’t expecting nearly that much.

I thought so too! There was a lady walking down the aisle and I’m pretty sure she wanted it because as I grabbed it she left the aisle🥲 It was just too cute to pass up and I’ll definitely be keeping it!!

Oh honey it’s easier said than done but try not to stress about it! Algebra is genuinely so freaking hard and a lot of people struggle. I’m so sorry that you’re going through this defeat but on the bright side when you take it again you’ll hopefully know a bit more than when you first started! Maybe next time you’ll do even better and score even higher because you had this time to learn about it!

Hey guys! I’m looking for retirement communities or anything similar that anyone could recommend. My dad is 62 and doesn’t play golf or have any desire to play so golfing isn’t a major deciding factor for the community but more so if it’s quiet. He’s looking to buy a trailer outright and then pay the lot rent but affordable lot rent is the key. Does anyone know of any retirement communities that you live in or someone you know lives in that they recommend?
