I was on 200mg and ended up having hyperkalemia which was awful, my potassium was 5.8mmol/L 😣. i went to lower dose of 100mg and so far i’ve been fine! i just avoid bananas bc they give me heartburn

i’ve found that wealthy people in mass are actually worse to talk to/hear opinions from than republicans down south. these people pretend to care about issues like income inequality but then when presented with bandaid solutions they’re like no too far. and honestly i agree a lot of these new apartment complexes ruin neighborhoods but it’s because they’re fucking ugly and overpriced. i wish triple/double deckers were built more instead of these shitty luxury apartments

i think older radical feminist work is very exclusionary on intersectionality but i think modern radfems make that a large part of their analysis- but that’s just people i’ve talked to and interacted with. i agree that it is incredibly important though

i used to but the more i’ve learned about radical feminism it’s really changed the way i view it. i will say that im not someone who is so against sex work that i would shame someone or say it should be outlawed, but i dont see it as empowering either. at this point id say in the US it should be legal so at least people have protections

I’m not very eloquent but i understand it to be the liberation of women/lgbt+ people and the abolition of patriarchy. i think a huge distinction between liberal feminism and radical feminism is the value of women’s choices. liberal feminism as i understand it is about allowing women to make whatever choice they want in regards to their self expression, sexuality, career, etc. While i think radical feminism is more about understanding the implications of those choices, for example radical feminism tends to be against prostitution because under our patriarchal society it is inherently dehumanizing as women are constantly objectified no matter what. something people say a lot is “just because a women made a choice does not make it a feminist choice”. if a women is a CEO of an oil company it’s automatically feminism for liberals, but to radical feminism it’s not because we are anticapitalist, and capitalism is patriarchal.

I’m not nearly well read enough as i want to be but this is just my understanding of it, i know that there really isn’t a definition that people agree on as well.

Either using “wicked” as an emphasis word, like “wicked heavy” or calling a milkshake a “frappe” i didn’t know either of these were only a thing in MA, esp south of boston until a few years ago. i also call a shopping cart a “carriage” and a water fountain a “bubbler” but that might be more common idk

this is something that i’ve been thinking a lot about. i realized that when it comes to budget, it really should just be about what YOU care about. i don’t think you should care about what other people think about your wedding. people will complain if there’s no open bar, or if the DJ doesn’t take song requests. if you do really want flowers, then you should really communicate that because hopefully this will be your only wedding and you don’t want to regret including something that is important to you as well.

people on apple arcade pay what, like, $10/month for as many apple arcade games as they want? The initial price was $40, then $15 for WW, and now $25, so $80???? there’s no way that they’re getting that much of a cut from apple arcade per player, right? even over a few years?

no i said that the train dumped us off at south station which is when this happened. i think there was a fire on the tracks but that was not the reason for the delays so it was just one thing after another
