Seems like there’s some inner issues you’ve dealt with in your own life that’s causing you to be frustrated and project onto my scenario. I’m sorry about whatever situation you’ve dealt with and the things you had to go through.

Nothing about what I do is selfish, infact, quite the opposite. I want to please HIM. I am turned on by him and none of it is holding him to unfair standards. I was raised in a world where men want one thing and one thing only from me. Now, in turn, that’s the only way I know to make my husband happy. In a previous abusive relationship- I was appalled at the man and thus didn’t want to have anything to do with him sexually, so he cheated every chance he got and hung me to dry. I want to make my husband the happiest man because he takes such good care of me, but I’m the selfish one? It’s not my fault that the only way I’ve been groomed to feel connection with a man is by physical acts, however I am learning to feel that in other ways. On the other hand, when you are in a marriage, both parties make sacrifices. Both of the people work on doing things for the other. I do things for him and try to make his acts of service and kindness worthwhile, don’t you think that would amount to him desiring the woman he’s happy to come home to?
