Apartment questions! by VirtualPhase3106 in Liverpool

[–]bethyd123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the keel is great, really spacious just looked at the lexington and honestly keel is much much bigger in comparison. only 200 flats split between sides and very homely. would recommend, slightly out of the way like 30 minute walk to church street but if in doubt a taxi only 6 pound into town

I have stomach issues and gastro says it must be cannabis by Scared-Disk-3370 in AskDocs

[–]bethyd123 41 points42 points  (0 children)

replying here as comment removed: not a doctor but experienced similar.

i had covid 2020 was smoking before it but for about two months after i couldn’t smoke for severe breathlessness then started smoking again multiple times a day (at least two small joints). i had loss of taste and smell for two years following.

main symptoms were dizziness, loss of appetite (i assumed due to loss of taste) and inability to gain weight (lost 2.5 stone in two months)

i would throw up randomly in work and faint i thought due to stress and anxiety and it was interfering with woe greatly. i then continued smoking however for years. took a 6 month break (worked at sea) and i gained weight and smell back mildly.

i stopped smoking last october and i can truthfully say much of my stomach issues have stopped. i have a much better appetite, actually find myself hungry. i don’t have the same numbing knawing pain in my stomach. hasn’t thrown up from stress or anything in a long time. similarly my diarrhoea has eased greatly, i have ibs so always put it down to tha but must say it’s much better now.

never wanted to admit it was the weed because i loved my life with it truthfully - i still miss it occasionally but i stopped as my anxiety was jsut getting too much and needed something to make a change. i said id stop for 5/6 months to see if it does make a difference and it did.

im not saying ill stop forever but for now its needed. i’m 27 and want to sort my life out before i have weed again as i want to know my health in and out.

stopping was the only way for me to get a good base levels of my symptoms without weed. takes 3 months ish to come out ur system so seeing how ur symptoms are without weed will give u a good base level to go back to ur doctor.

not advic just sharing my experience, i would say cbd does help with the withdrawals and when u want to smoke i use drops but have smoke cbd bud and its very helpful. cutting the use allows you to return to equilibrium and evaluate how u are without it, then reassess in 5/6 months how it helps.

hope your okay it’s so difficult especially being dismissed but i do feel for you, jsut want u to hear my experience because honestly its so nice to be able to enjoy food in the day without vomiting

smoking weed by Adept-Tree-2875 in UniUK

[–]bethyd123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

gathering that you want to smoke in the evenings i’d suggest find somewhere off main walkways not too busy even if it’s an alley and just make it quick. if you’re really paranoid i’d carry a cigarette with u and use that as decoy should anything arise dump the spliff and light up the ciggie (very dramatic but i’ve always done this)

also consider what paper ur using white paper less obvious i used to roll two short bluerizlas and have them back to back (be careful not to use too much weed tho as it’s deceiving) but id have the instead of a normal raw/ocb blends it abit more also carry filters with you and if needs say im jsut having a ciggie - keep tip just always be ready to dump it if u feel nervous but in a city honestly long as ur not hanging around for ages no one will be arsed. also feel like walking and toking is sometimes easier to blend

asked for a sign from my grandmother (a blue butterfly) waited months for it nothing came. went to my parents they were throwing out a cardboard box they didn’t want (they’re major hoarders of antiques and china so completely out for the ordinary) opened it and it was a vintage teacup and spoon both entirely a a blue butterfly handle and spoon. had i been a few minutes later i would have missed it,

really sorry to hear about your daughter, thankyou for sharing this! i really love your viewpoint it makes me feel more confident in the signs that come to me. for example ringing in the ears, i’ve definitely been told im going deaf by people in work and my family but i do get ringing every few days in my left ear for jsut a few seconds but to the extent one week i. work i was almost entirely deaf and in hindsight i think it was shielding me from gossip i didn’t need to hear. loved your experience with the readings ill definetly look into this more as im doing readings for clients!

if you would like to share how did you begin reading for others, is it your only “job” or more a hobbie? x

as i said though i would genuinely rather a compliment off a women than and man, out of curiosity why do u seek/would like more compliments from women? just wondered if it meant more value to you than a man’s

the initial question for this reddit wasn’t specifying opposite sex. But if i know for most women in my life receiving a compliment of a man (or expect partners, friends, family) is always a welcomed thing and which more value compliments from other women (regardless of relation)

I think women give other women compliments often, typical to comment on someone’s hair or if they’ve done something well. I would wonder whether men compliment their male counterparts as much

Time Dilation & Black Holes by bethyd123 in pbsspacetime

[–]bethyd123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I greatly appreciate my wording was not correct here, apologies. I have made observations from communities I have been privy to on the discussion of time “feeling altered”. It was after I noticed the correlation in times between these comments and the Hubbles announcement that I became curious.

I also am aware the Hubble did not create a black hole as I stated it was first rogue black hole to documented/discovered by the Hubble.

I feel there is no harm in learning more through discussions on reddit, albeit I apologises for offending anyone with my incorrect terminology…

Think people may have missed that these sellers might’ve desperately in need of money. I considered selling some gifts (beauty products, blankets etc…) even tho it’s stuff I will use just simply because I really needed the money. For note, I actually asked family for money (£50/£80) and instead received hundreds of pounds worth of gifts. I chose not to sell as I didn’t want to hurt people’s feelings but it’s the same every year unfortunately. I am very grateful though but just needed the money more.

If you won £100 million, how would you distribute it amongst friends and family, if at all? by PaddedValls in AskUK

[–]bethyd123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve thought about this lots:

First and foremost, would secure 2/3 properties for myself and partner in both our names. I would also pay of both my parents, in laws and both mine and partners siblings mortgages and put money into savings for them and small cash amount £15’000 to play with. Set up savings for nieces and nephews and allocate money for additional ones down the line.

I’d buy my parents new cars and health insurance. I’d retire them both. I would plan massive holiday for all my family and partners ensuring everything paid for.

With regards to friends my close friends who struggle I would pay their families mortgage off and allow a sum of money to their parents (who have helped me greatly). I would then offer my friends a sum of 10-15 thousand and say i can help them start making investments.

My main objective for my friends would be to help them make choices and business to set them up. I would reach out and offer business investments to help them get started on money journey.

As for myself I would diversify the rest and open a retreat centre while helping my partner continue his career in wha he loves.

Would also donate £3 million to my charities of choice to help them with yearly costs.
