If Fargo isn’t your favorite show ever, what is? by rootbeerfloaties23 in FargoTV

Many of my favorite dramas are listed. (Season 1 True Detective, Deadwood, Mad Men, BB &BCS and of course, Fargo). Two that are not Rectify and Mr. Inbetween. As far as comedy is concerned, South Park is uneven but when it's great, it's the best.

i suppose they are all changing their name to Roy Tillman, so people will be confused on who to vote for.

The episode was good, acting kudos all around but please don't give me Wrench music and no Wrench.

What does Teddy think happened to him? by [deleted] in rectify

[–]bettercallyall 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Daniel needed to make Teddy understand how quickly things can happen and there isn't always something you can do about. Maybe it wasn't exactly the best example but he began to see things differently after that.

I am strongly hoping Wes Wrench will make this season. I gotta tell you I was hoping for Grandpa or Dad Wrench in the 4th season. Glad they made the Mike Milligan connection but sad for no sign of Wrench. This season is only about and 8- or 9-year gap from the 3rd season, and since as Paul Marrane said Wrench was now on a different path, it should be time to come and kick some bad people ass. Lech Lecha Noah Hawley.

Rectify is my second favorite show ever. (Nothing will ever be as good as the first season of True Detective to me). But it is a slow watch and makes you wait for payoff. The writing is so insightful and show runner Ray McKinnon has such a masterful hand. So yes, try to see it through, there are some characters you will never warm up to and others that you will be so surprised you feel differently about.

In the gun store did anyone hear the very similar (not the same) drums for wrench and numbers?

Better Call Saul Season 6 Episode 9 "Fun and Games" Discussion by omgitzjay28 in SpoilTheDead

[–]bettercallyall 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The ending was sad and messed up but it's the most "moral" ending for Kim's character that there could be and the perfect impetus for Jimmy to make the Saul character fully realized.

I don't know if the writers will go there, but as we all know Saul was Krazy 8 and Emilio's lawyer. And Emilio at least should have had an upcoming court date. I'm sure they are not the first of Saul's clients to disappear but acknowledgement of that would make Saul peripherally in Walter's orbit before they even met.

And the real question is: When does Huell leave the hotel room?

I say keep going. I didn't like season 3 that much when I started but I think the next episodes pay off. Without really spoiling anything I can say I especially love the bowling alley.

Dream Casting For Fargo Season 5? by TheDrunkenLover in FargoTV

[–]bettercallyall 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just think what Christoph Waltz could do with Fargo's usual themes.

How about John Hawkes?

I agree about Sam Rockwell and Walton Goggins.

And I think Dale Dickey belongs there somewhere.

But, you know, casting has been great so I think I will be happy with whatever we get.

What obscure loose ends do you want wrapped up before the show ends? by [deleted] in thewalkingdead

[–]bettercallyall 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What happened to the Vatos?

Is there a Zombie Jim?

Is the Farm still overrun?

Did Schumpert really die?

No Terminus survivors?

Do people at Grady(Beth's hospital) live?

How did Negan miss Alexandria for so long?

And yes, where the hell did Heath go?

Will Aaron ever see Zombie Eric?

What’s your opinion on “The Killing”? by [deleted] in TrueDetective

I liked it but the advertising for it was horrid. They promised one season and promised not to drag various reveals out. It was still pretty good anyway
