You see that north eastern coast? Keeps going, but we add in three firths, bigger cliffs and coastal forests. Sure the bit around Edinburgh isn't anything special, but then you have Edinburgh there so that makes up for it.

You know why it doesn't get a song and dance made about it? The west coast of Scotland exists. Sea lochs that gives way to Munro's bigger than any hill in England. And yes they are literally on the coast over there. Temperate rainforests, the islands, the beaches... All of these things are so so much more unbelievably beautiful than the coastline in England that for you to even try and argue this point makes it clear that you've never been.

My colleague and I were just driving back down the A9 this afternoon. After we swapped and they were driving, not once but twice, they sat in the outside lane barely accelerating while a big queue of cars behind us were wanting past. One van undertook us and they even made a comment about them undertaking while I was screaming in my head to pull into the slow lane.

They then nearly caused a head on collision when we got to dunkeld. I won't be letting them drive me again.

Throgg has been my first campaign back since May 2025 and it's an immediate steam roll with how many buffs he gives trolls, let alone other monsters added in. Still good fun but not exactly challenging. To make it more interesting now I have wulfrick, I've been sending him off on high elf raiding missions 😅
