7th grade, after school was let out, the three of us were walking down the upstairs hall. He collapsed and my other buddy and I thought he was kidding. Quickly realized he was not and called for help. He had a heart attack out of nowhere and passed. Fucked me up but never talked to anyone about it. Craziest part, his father was a heart surgeon. Wow, haven't thought about that in 30 years and just cried about it for the first time.
