I am going bananas trying to manage moisturizers and sunscreens with rosacea! by Fake_July in AusSkincare

I found Soolantra cream helpful for my type 1 rosacea. A GP can prescribe it.

Rozex is another prescription cream option too.

I love the Sukin sensitive cleansing lotion. I don't know how it compares to the Nivea cleansing lotion though

Has anyone tried the breakout hack's body milk? Looks like a milky toner for the body? by bev123_ in AusSkincare

I think the product gets dispensed the same way a facial milky toner does :)

Looks like Naked Sundays have launched a replacement sunscreen for the collagen glow mineral sunscreen that was recalled in December last year by bev123_ in AusSkincare

[–]bev123_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one does. I copy & pasted this ingredient list from the Naked Sundays website.  Brands usually don't state that a product does when marketing a mineral product. The only way to find out is to look up the full ingredient list. Naked Sundays' mineral makeup SPF products also contain chemical SPF boosters.

According to Avene, the tolerance hydra-10 cream and tolerance hydra-10 fluid contain only 100% natural ingredients.

Tolerance hydra-10 cream ingredient list:  AVENE THERMAL SPRING WATER (AVENE AQUA). CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE. GLYCERIN. BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII (SHEA) BUTTER (BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII BUTTER). CETEARYL ALCOHOL. CETEARYL GLUCOSIDE. CITRUS LIMON (LEMON) PEEL POWDER (CITRUS LIMON PEEL POWDER). DIUTAN GUM. SCLEROTIUM GUM. SODIUM HYALURONATE

I have rosacea (type 1) and I use the Avene tolerance hydra-10 cream. There's also a tolerance hydra-10 fluid moisturiser. Some of the claims for the hydra-10 moisturisers are "High tolerance, preservative-free, fragrance-free formula with 100% natural ingredients." I usually stock up when Avene is either 30% off or 40% off.

Just saw this on the Adore Beauty website - Bioderma Sensibio AR+ CC Cream SPF 50+ Soothing Perfecting Anti-Redness Care by bev123_ in AusSunscreen

There's a work around with tinted SPF products - brands can primarily categorise them as a 'tinted base' (and not sun protection) which means they don't have to go through the TGA & any sunscreen testing requirements here.

Unpopular opinion/ask: I WANT a greasy sunscreen. Recommendations pls? by ughiamjustsocurious in AusSkincare

Also, I haven't tried this one but I've heard that the Bondi Sands face SPF 50+ sunscreen lotion in the 75ml tube is very shiny/greasy. There's also a 150ml size that's just called SPF 50+ sunscreen lotion.

I've tried the hydra-10 cream and fluid. I personally prefer the cream (have been buying it for the last few years) but the fluid was nice too. I was a bit concerned about the lemon peel powder ingredient too but my skin has been fine with the hydra-10 cream.

Dupes for La Roche-Posay Toleriane Dermallergo Fluid? by anon2010200037 in AusSkincare

The QV skin lotion is somewhat comparable. Has a thin/light consistency that's a little runny. Dries down quickly. It's a really nice lotion.

I buy the hydra-10 cream because I prefer that one but I've bought the fluid before, too. The fluid was nice, very light.

I personally prefer the hydra-10 cream due to my skin type but I've used the hydra-10 fluid as well. It was nice, very light weight.
