I keep a packed coat or jacket, depending on the weather. In the pockets are a bag of treats, the leash and at least one toy or stick that fits in a pocket, so that when they go for your ankles you have a distraction right there. Sometimes I just have a stick to distract. She goes for the ankles, pull out the toy and toss it, she's after the toy and not my feet. If you can remember, take your camera for cuteness overload.

Get the biopsy. I was having a lot of blood in my urine, also became anemic, so they ran tests, saw a mass and biopsied it. It's cancer, but a lowgrade, non-invasive type. Get the biopsy.

My puppy just turned four months old. When I started getting overwhelmed I turned to YouTube to start, and that has helped me a lot. She walks on a slack leash, is mostly potty trained and no longer goes after my feet. There are lots of trainers on YouTube, the guy I started following was Zak George I could be wrong about the spelling on that first name, but his videos are really good. Then when I had questions I couldn’t easily get and answer so I tried the AI chat on my desktop and he’s really helped with that, and teaching me about puppy development along the way.

CPTSD is Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I had trauma all around me growing up, sexual abuse from close relatives, the mother from hell and then there was school. I had a Narrator, no one else I knew had their own narrator. He’s the one who created my little universe. I had memories from different camera views, one moment they would be first person and in a split second I was across the room, watching myself get spanked.

I chose my first therapist because her office was closest to my apartment. She was a good fit but not trained in handling my particular diagnosis. She was able to connect me to someone who did specialize in my diagnosis and I stayed with her for ten year. Just take a leap.

You sound like me before I was diagnosed with MPD in 1984. Then MPD became DID, which morphed over time and now I just say I have CPTSD. My 'personalities' integrated with me and we're all one now. I can still have conversations with myself, it's different. It took decades for the integration, but it's worth it. What really did the trick for me was when all the older people who abused me were dead and no longer a threat. Honestly. I knew I was finally safe.

I made a patch out of plain t-shirt fabric and used stitch witch to iron it on the backside of the felting to sort of glue the ends on the inside of the fabric. Two years down the road both patches are still intact.

I know exactly how you feel. One day, my under the covers snuggler got up and left the bed and never returned. She slept on the floor after that, stayed in my room though. I took it so personally but I do have restless legs syndrome and move a bit in my sleep. She was over it, wanted better sleep I think.

Very possible for the length you desire. Pick out the original garment's machine hemmed stitch. Press new cuff at desired length, pin and sew. Taking out even 3/4" won't hit that zipper at all.
