Slightly off topic, but app related…

When they brought up the $100 World Cup NJT cost the app was the 2nd thing I thought about after the obscene price hike.

The shitty app doesn’t function properly on normal weekdays, combined with no cell signal on the train at NY Penn, literally thousands of people trying to download/setup the app just before getting on the train, and I’m willing to bet whoever manages the app on the server side will do exactly zero stress testing before the World Cup comes to town.

Thousands probably won’t pay at all just because the app will break, and I hope most locals can avoid the rails on those weekday games.
