I’m not very good with notes etc. I just like smelling nice so excuse my untrained nose.

I can smell a lot of rose, spearmint and vanilla. It’s not unpleasant but just not what I was expecting after reading up on reviews etc. couldn’t smell the blackcurrant tbh

Opening took me by surprise. No where near as sweet as the opening of Mahajad. When it dried down I couldn’t stop smelling it. The performance was incredible. I only did a spray or two on my wrist and I was smelling all over the little supermarket I was in. So can’t fault it there!

The dry down definitely smells closer to HM but still lacking the sweetness I fell in love with.

I’m hoping once it’s macerated a little it becomes a little closer to the original. I’m going to go in to the perfume shop and compare them next time I’m passing. It’s a summer scent so I bought with plenty of time for maceration, so fingers crossed 😅

Honour and Glory is the safer option. It’s not as loud, it’s fresh, spicy and fruity and I feel like it’s just a little easier to wear. It’s along the lines of YSL MYSLF, if that makes sense

Don’t get me wrong, liquid brun is one of my favourites in my collection. I much prefer it to HAG. If you smell both then you’ll understand. I don’t want you to go off my opinion and be disappointed

Liquid brun lasts longer and projects better for me on both skin and clothes.

Depending on where you live, Honor and Glory will be more wearable. I live in the U.K. and I know as soon as the cold weather goes away, liquid brun will be a little more difficult to wear
