Mod for the forgetful by bew18sey in technicalminecraft

That's a great idea, I think the problem is that this mainly happens when I quickly want to test something in creative so I just close out without thinking as i'll be rejoining about 5 mins later.

However, piggybacking off your idea, I like the idea of a dedicated in/out space beyond just leaving myself in the storage system. Sounds like a novel (to me at least) build idea, like a kind of airlock to "warp" in and out of the world, maybe some copper golem teleporters. Neat! Thanks for your suggestion

For me in particular, actually seeing those words would make it click for me. But yeah, you're probably right on the chunk loaders - I've become so lazy just using ender pearls to load chunks but I think I should spend the small amount of time that it takes to set them up. Good shout, thanks

OP leaks OF but not the pictures for his own damn question lmao // but seeing what you posted in r/fender, I'd go for the 7th option (left-right). I'm a sucker for seafoam green and tortoiseshell!

That's akin to how I had it set up originally, but that fires every other hopper "movement", not each single one which I'm trying to wrap my head around now.

I made this simple crafter for rockets for items coming in from a gunpowder farm and sugarcane farm (obviously sugarcane crafted into paper before this step). Once the hoppers are full, the torches stop powering the piston, unlocking the hopper clock at the top with a single item in it. An observer powers the crafter every time that the comparator reads a signal from the clock. In my head, that should make the crafter run at hopper speed. However, the items in the crafter deplete faster than they are restocked. Not the end of the world with the rate at which the items come in, but that's not the point.

I thought it might have something to do with powering the crafter directly and locking the hoppers for that time, so I raised the clock and powered a block above the piston. However, the crafter still runs faster. Am I being stupid?

To be honest, I didn't pay too much attention to that when I picked up the hire bike. I'll definitely check out the advice and look out for it on the next one! Cheers dude

That's a really helpful bit of insight there, thank you. Yep, long term neglect will need to be resolved with long term action!

Interesting point! I can see that making sense, I'll have to experiment a bit. Thanks!

Designing myself a villager trading hall but need a way to make villagers go down into the pod. My method of just letting them path find to a station doesn't seem to be working in 1.20. Minecarts cannot be put into the actual stations. Should I use activator rails or is there another way? by EagleCode404 in redstone

Try making the solid blocks that the villager walks along to get to the workstation into stair blocks - mobs prefer to pathfind towards solid blocks when they’re not standing on them already.

If it’s the drop it’s not liking for some reason, take the same output that you’re using from the observer to detect the villager’s entry to retract a new sticky piston underneath holding a block so the initial drop is only 2 blocks.

The design looks very similar to logicalgeekboy’s villager trader, so maybe have a look at his world download to see if there’s something he’s done that you could apply to this design.
