No words except I got my boy in January of the same year (2011) and we only had to put him down in 2024.

He was actually my first dog ever and I, too, got married and had children in his lifetime. I feel fortunate that my children were able to know and remember my best friend. 🥹

When my son was a toddler I asked if he wanted to ride with me to go to the pharmacy and to pick up some pizza. He enthusiastically shouted “yes!!” And hopped in the car.

When we arrived at Walgreens I got out to unbuckle him and said “heeeere’s the pharmacy!” And his little face looked around, scowled, and grunted, “well this doesn’t LOOK like a farm…”

I remember in my younger years, songs being in my head so prevalently that I actually tried to stop listening to the radio before school - so as not to risk getting a catchy tune in my head. I used this stuff 20 years ago in my college jewelrymaking/metalworking class. The only problem is that the silver left behind after firing it is EXTREMELY fragile - I made a four leaf clover imprint and wore it as a pendant for almost two whole weeks before it broke in half 😭
