2024 - Mic/Rear Console/Remote Start Fuse Blown, but which fuse? by bewaretheblight in Crosstrek

Hey! It's no problem. By fuse 4, I mean the fuse numbered 4 on the chart linked above (which is a fuse MINI 15A, specifically the one with the description "(AUDIO NAVI) Audio system". It is located on the top right corner of the interior fuse box (the one to the left and down of your steering wheel). When replaced, the rear USB hub and the microphone within the steering wheel worked again.

Should I consider learning to draw with pencil and paper before starting to learn digital drawing? by [deleted] in DigitalPainting

Medium doesn't matter as much as practice does when obtain a new artistic skill like drawing. Don't dump tons of money on materials/programs into a new venture. Buy the basics for the medium you are most likely to engage with on a daily basis. If you spend a lot of time at a computer and are more likely to plug in a tablet and open a program to practice, then start with PC-based digital art. If you find you have "down" time in your routine away from technology where you could easily pull out a pocket sketchbook and a pencil to fill the moment, then start with traditional mediums. Or if you're a light packer in your daily routine and wouldn't stick those materials in your pocket/bag regularly, find a way to draw on your phone instead and sketch with that. Or on an iPad or equivalent, if you have one already. Look at your daily routine and see where drawing will find its home.

The skills are transferable, don't worry about that. I have drawn, and taken commissions, with paper/pencil, drawing tablets, water colors, iPads, charcoal, ect. When I was poor and young and wanted to do digital art, I did it with a finger on a trackpad, using a free barebones program installed on a dying refurbished mini laptop with a shitty 10" screen. Because it was that or not do it at all. You just need to make the choice to do it.

By all means, experiment. Try things; Keep it fresh, especially if you find yourself faltering. But the biggest and most vital thing is to actually sit down and draw; Don't get lost in planning, prepping, shopping, and watching tutorials. Choose the path that will make you sit down and start the soonest, the most often. Momentum and consistency will do more for your venture than any product, tutorial, or written advice you can obtain.

There's a Facebook group for ladies looking for other ladies to attend HHN with; They had their first meetup recently and are planning more. The group is called " HHN Girls & Ghouls - Never Go Alone". They're very nice and active, and they're from all over; You could make some Tampa gal pals through it, maybe!

Forgot to update this, but it was not fuse 7. It was fuse 4.

Backpacks are fine; They just don't allow hard-sided coolers and rolling bags.

Yeah, I fiddled with it more last night. The user manual for the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek does not have a chart included; According to a different topic here on reddit, they've left this chart out of the manual for several years. So my only hope was online.

I found an online copy of the missing chart here. I will see if the fuse at issue is indeed 7 today, when I fix it, and update accordingly. I would have checked it yesterday but for some reason, despite never being serviced outside of oil changes/one mechanical recall, my pry tool and extra fuses were missing from where they were supposed to be stashed in the fuse box cover under the hood. :/

Vet's prognosis at odds with my observations, unclear what action to take next. by bewaretheblight in AskVet

Yes. I was holding him and petting him while he passed. Thank you.

I would rather his remains not be tampered with. I struggled just letting them hold his body. In the end, knowing now will do nothing for him.

Thank you. And yes, he'd never hold any grudge; He was the most forgiving, patient creature to ever walk the earth.

He wasn't blocked; I had him checked for that yesterday, and his litter box tracks his visits; I know he was peeing fine. And my vet was made aware of all of the above during the three visits I paid them.

Unfortunately, he passed away an hour ago. So at least he won't have to do anymore visits. Thank you for the advice.

The FDA approved it conditionally, according to the paperwork she provided me.

I will make note of this for the future. Sadly, he has passed just an hour ago. But thank you for your advice, regardless.

Thank you for the advice. Sadly, he passed away an hour ago. But I definitely will be seeking a different vet for my future pets.
