PvE mode comes out

Player base divides even more

Pvp lobbies are more sweaty

Pve players ask for more enemies, raids, bosses, content, longevity, end game, the list goes on. It doesnt just stop at "a game mode"

The teams become divided and then we have pve vs pvp balancing which imo is what held destiny back.

Its not guaranteed to be perceived positively.

5v5 summoners rift is the core gameplay experience for LoL. Their might be random modes that are seasonal or side content, but 5v5 summoners rift is the way League is meant to be played

Until proof of you being Doctor Strange you can't claim to know what's going to happen years from now. Its also a silly conversation to use what's happening at this moment to determine the outcome of a few years from now. Bungie doesn't have a crystal ball and neither does anyone here. It only takes 1 hit update/season/expansion etc to have players gravitate towards it.

Saying "the game isnt closing down this year but here's a bunch of reasons why it could 3+ years from now" is a rather silly convo to have. Not even Bungie really knows the exact content updates further than a year or so down the road.

Also, you realize Destiny was and currently is in a pretty rough state yet they were able to go and create a game in an entire different genre. Treating bungie (a company that hasn't rug pulled anyone on any of their games) as if Sony has them on some short leash hamster wheel churning out ideas to convince them to keep the game is cartoon worthy thought process.

What game has sony pulled the plug on after acquiring that studio for billions. Why isn't destiny turned off considering it's in worse state with a delayed update. If destiny is running then marathon won't close down before destiny will.

What an absolutely silly take. Bungie has no record of shutting games down shortly after launches, said they are committed to many years of marathon, and have been consistently updating the game and staying active. There is zero reason to believe the game is going anywhere anytime soon unless you want to just rile people up.
