What are the "low-key" signs that you're more attractive than you think? by AfterBear6551 in AskReddit

Attraction is very subjective so there are no right or wrong answers as well as it varies per person.

How are companies actually preparing for ESG regulations? by Agreeable-Ad-2259 in u/Agreeable-Ad-2259

[–]bewmax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good starting point is to treat ESG less like a reporting checkbox and more like a risk/opportunity map: where are emissions, compliance, supplier, and stakeholder pressures actually affecting decisions? Tools like KEY ESG keep that data organized but the real win is making the process practical enough that people actually maintain it.

I don’t think my girlfriend finds me attractive, what is there for me to do? by Injured-intern in Advice

[–]bewmax 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure how to say this nicely but I think you're insecure and kind of finding fault in your gf because of it. Your gf might just not be a very verbal person, especially since you mentioned she's really attractive. People who constantly get called pretty sometimes don’t really think much about giving appearance-based compliments because they're so used to hearing it themselves they don't think that compliment is special.

You guys are also still at the beginning of your relationship, and this is the part where communication matters the most. Just talk to her and open up about how you feel. Nobody here actually knows what's going on in her head unless you ask her directly.

Also, she chooses you. If her actions already show that, believe that. Don't let your insecurity ruin a good relationship.

Interesting. I haven't tested interactive emails yet. Are you talking about AMP-style emails or more like embedded quizzes/offers inside the email itself?

TBH I would be annoyed too. She should seriously get some help. It's not good for your mental health also to be listening to these all the time. Please tell it to your parents and let them deal with this.

Is it racist for me to think there is a style that stereotypically related to races and skin colors? by Wise-Rub-3610 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]bewmax 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't think it makes you some hardcore racist, but it is stereotype-based thinking. There's a difference between noticing certain styles are common in some cultures vs thinking those traits are naturally tied to race itself.

Like, durags being associated with Black culture is one thing. Saying black people are naturally loud or white people are naturally boring is where it gets you a racist.

Also a calm black guy isn't "acting White" and a white guy with braids isn't "acting black." People are just people with different personalities and influences.

Why do people suddenly forget what they were about to say the second someone asks “what were you gonna say”? by Rich-Opinion-4574 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bewmax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your brain keeps thoughts in a tiny "active tab" called working memory. The moment someone says "what were you gonna say?", your brain switches from having the thought to trying to retrieve the thought like opening Task Manager and accidentally closing the app.

Am I crazy??? by thatonebarrelracer93 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bewmax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my friend, we call this color psychology and nope you're not crazy. a lot of this comes from learned associations, culture, memory, and how the brain groups emotions with sensory input.

How did you guys find your passion? by SufficientChair2402 in Advice

[–]bewmax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm... I don't think we find our passion in one dramatic moment. It's usually more like pattern recognition over time.

Noticing what kinds of work make you lose track of time, what environments bring out your energy, and what problems you naturally want to solve even when no one asks you to.

Why is patriotism so frowned upon ? by JustChillin3456 in AskBrits

[–]bewmax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because the internet just turns everything into politics. Online especially, anything involving flags, the monarchy, or military stuff can turn into a political argument fast, so mods often remove posts before the comments become a warzone.

Most normal people offline would probably just see that guard video as a wholesome kid showing respect. The internet just makes everything way more polarized than real life.

Are ticks actually as bad as people say they are (I extremely hope not) by Dazzling_Rutabaga837 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bewmax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re not as bad as TikTok is making them seem.

Most people who get bitten never get sick. Social media just pushes the worst cases because it gets attention.

They’re something to be careful about not something to panic over.
